Sparkle and Ice is our extreme winter camp for Guides and Rangers. Test your camping skills in near-freezing temperatures, then warm up with marshmallow-toasting, abseiling, assault courses and more.

From 9am on Saturday 26 - 12.30pm on Sunday 27 November 2022, with an additional Friday night stay option. There's also a day option from 10am to 6pm on Saturday 26 November 2022.

The Jamboree Denmark 2022 planning team would like to extend a warm invitation to Scouts and Guides from around the world to join us for Jamboree Denmark from 23 - 31 July 2022!

From joining campaigns to end violence against women and girls in Malawi, to encouraging young leaders in Latvia – GOLD empowers young women to work in partnership with other guide associations around the world. It's great for our GOLD teams, who have fantastic adventures, and it's great our partner organisations too.

Held every four years, the World Scout Jamboree is an amazing international experience where Scouts and Guides from the whole globe come together to have fun and make friends. The next WSJ is in SaeManGeum, South Korea in the summer of 2023. 

This is event is for Rainbows and Brownies, to give them a taste of a large scale event at one of our centres.

The event runs from Saturday 18 June to Sunday 19 June; however, it is preferable for volunteers to arrive at the site on Friday 17 June (PM) so that they’re ready for a full day on the Friday. 

For all roles you will need to be efficient, hardworking and a good team member. Specific experience is not necessary, but enthusiasm is!

Wellies and Wristbands is our festival event for Guides and Rangers. With activities running all day and a full musical line-up in the evening, a lot of hands are required to ensure the event runs as smoothly as possible.

We’re looking for enthusiastic and dedicated volunteers to help run the event from Friday 26 to Monday 29 August 2022 at Foxlease and Waddow Hall. 

The event runs from Friday 23 September to Sunday 25 September; it is preferable for volunteers to arrive onsite during the morning on Friday so they are ready for participants arrival Friday evening.

For all roles you will need to be efficient, hardworking and a good team member. Specific experience is not necessary, but enthusiasm is!

If you would like to be a volunteer at Our Chalet in 2022, now is the time to get involved. You could be supporting our reopening in 2022, running programmes and events throughout the year, or part of a committee or working group. You might already have specific knowledge of the World Centres and Our Chalet or you might be completely new to the World Centres wanting to learn more.
